This page is to inform Kansas City area Karaoke singers of the contest we are currently involved in.
Winter/Spring 2012 ($1,500 CASH 1st Place)
Our annual contest will be held in at least fifteen bars around the Kansas City Metro area and be held 20-25 times each week (some bars will participate on multiple nights).
1st Place is $1,500, 2nd Place is $500 and 3rd is $250.
You are encouraged to win as many qualifying rounds you can, to increase your odds of winning a semi-final round, which will insure your spot in the finals. You can win multiple nights at the same bar also!
You must be present to sign up for each nights contest and the contest will usually start within an hour and a half of normal karaoke start time.
This years contest finals will be hosted by Harrah's North Kansas City Casino and will be held in the VooDoo Lounge on April 15th. This venue is absolutely the most awesome place in Kansas City that you can imagine for a singing contest.
Wonderful acoustics, an immense stage, seating for 750 plus, designed for international singing artists and the best sound men in Kansas City supporting our singers. We pull out all the stops to make sure you have every opportunity to showcase your voice! Good Luck, and we will see you at Harrah's VooDoo Lounge on the 15th!

AP - The crazy eyes and idiosyncratic drawl of Woody Harrelson are enough to carry the dirty cop study "Rampart," but even such powers as those can't make engaging this weary L.A. noir.
Reuters - Lana Del Rey has not postponed her spring tour -- because she didn't even have one planned, says a representative for the "Video Games" singer.
